We've Left New Zealand

Departed Tauranga on the 1st, right into a gale. Wouldn't have minded if it was behind us, pushing us along, but it was right on the nose. Passed East Cape this morning (the 3rd), out into the big, blue, wet thing, finally leaving NZ behind.

  1. Hey Marc; I met you and Eiton in Mexico several years ago when aboard Ron Shea's boat. I'll be watching your blog with excitment. Take care and fair winds.

  2. Hey brother, I hope your trip is smooth. Enjoy the doldrums. Iraq is quiet these days. I'll be on R&R at the end of May and will be in Florida visiting the family. I get back to Washington in August. Take care and use sunscreen :)

  3. Into a gale? Dude, what are you using for weather forecasting? Hope you don't have to go too far south to find wind after. Good fishing and fair winds.
